1. Remote location
user
With only an internet connection and a browser, a
remote team member at a location such as a satellite office or a home
based office can be within a click or two of a secure, live logon to your
contact data
files. Changes are effective immediately, so your home and web users
always remain up to date.
2. Mobile /
Traveling user
Team members who are on the road may not always have
internet access. These users can have a remote data file with just
the contact data they need that synchs
to the main data on your server as soon as internet access is
available. And, using the ACT! Link for Palm® or Pocket PC®, they can keep
their contacts in their pockets!
3. Administrator / Manager
Utilizing any or all of these user deployments,
team leaders have complete and total control over the distribution
of data to various team members. Access to contact data can be restricted
according to needs, and changed immediately as those needs change and
evolve.
4. Users on the network
Back in the main office, team members have instant
access through your secure internal network, while sharing data with
all other members of the team, no matter where they are. For
example, meetings can be arranged for traveling users, while results
can be analyzed by the team leader in the office. Being on the "same
